What and where are Tapirs? They are found in Central and South America as well as South East Asia. They resemble a pig but are more closely related to horses and Rhinoceros. They have a short elephant like nose and four toes on the front feet and four on the back feet. These odd little creatures are one of my favorites- I once fed one in Belize where they are the national animal! (2.5 inches long, 4.25 inches wide by 5 inches tall)
